The 2015 Infiniti QX60 comes as a replacement for the JX model that was introduced in 2013th. Main difference is the name since Infiniti, for some reason, decided just to re-badge this vehicle. These changes come as a result of new name policy that Infiniti introduced recently.
Small changes are expected but nothing revolutionary. Most of these differences will be related to the optional and standard features as we do expect to see slightly more equipment in base trim but also additional features for higher level trims. Price should remain almost identical, expect to see slight increase just like it happens every year when carryover model comes.
Review Of 2015 Infiniti QX60
We do know that the Infiniti is the Nissans luxury brand and as always we are getting pretty high level of luxury and equipment in one of their vehicles. The QX60 represents this brand on the crossover market and it is possible to transport up to seven passengers in this vehicle while all those passengers will be able to enjoy great quality of materials and luxury in interior of this crossover.
On the design field this car maker certainly managed to offer a lot and we are getting one quite attractive vehicle. Many times for a car company to produce attractive vehicle some compromises in interior space and its shape needs to be implemented but with this one we are getting great amount of room for passengers and a decent cargo area. Long wheelbase and short overhangs in combination with low roofline looks nice and modern, what is even more important it does not jeopardize the headroom.
Second row of seats have about six inches travel and this allows perfect setup for the third row leg room but also for the cargo space. Access to the third row is quite simple thankfully to large doors and possibility to slide second row seats. Center console is dominated with a 7 inch display giving all the information’s to driver about car systems. Leather is standard and front seats have climate controlled cooling and heating making them quite comfortable for longer journeys.
2015 Infiniti QX60 Specs
Under the hood of the new Infiniti QX60 we are getting only one engine. There is no doubt that this is a great unit but little more choices would be great. With 3.5 liter V6 unit that produces 265 hp at 6400 rpm and 248 lb-ft of torque at 4400 rpm most drivers will be more than satisfied. Infiniti also managed to bring good fuel economy which is set to 17/23/19 mpg city/highway/combined drive cycle.
The 2015 Infiniti QX60 imposes as one of the best solutions for drivers that are looking for a luxury crossover that is capable to transport up to seven passengers. This is quite competitive market but Infiniti always managed to offer great vehicles and nice choice for buyers. Even slight improvements that we are getting for some models will allow them to stay competitive and fresh but have in mind that biggest difference with this model is the name change.
